Course Introduction

Cyberspace has become a game changer in the digital age. Both developed and developing countries are using cyberspace to leap ahead in the future & leveraging it as a socio-economic enabler for development and augmentation of critical information infrastructure, electronic delivery of services, etc. The same cyberspace is being equally exploited by terrorists, criminals and even adversary nation-states for disrupting critical infrastructures, stealing secrets, carrying out financial frauds, recruiting criminals etc. It is becoming even more attractive to criminals especially given the borderless nature of the cyberspace that cuts across jurisdiction, allowing criminals to launch attacks remotely from anywhere in the world. Cyber security has become a global challenge and has mobilized discussions and actions both at national and international levels. It is increasingly getting linked to national security of a country. For economies across the globe, finding skilled professionals in Cyber Security remain a formidable challenge. Cybersecurity i.e. Security in cyberspace is about technologies, processes, and policies that help to prevent as well as reduce the negative impact of events such as cybercrimes and cyber terrorism in cyberspace. RKCLs Cyber Security course is designed for the young aspirants who wants to shape their careers in IT Security field. In this course, you will gain an overview of the cybersecurity, various types of viruses and malware, how to protect our system from viruses, types of cyber-attacks, various tools used for cyber-attacks, how to secure system from cyber-attacks.

Course Eligibility

Class 12 Pass with Basic Knowledge of Computers (RS-CIT Pass preferred)

Course Duration

120 hours (2 hrs. per day, 5 days a week) out of which 100 hours will be instructor led online training and 20 hours will be offline self-learning/practice sessions.

Admission Process

Learner can search & contact nearest RKCLs Authorized IT Gyan Kendra and coordinate with them for admission process.

Batch Size

Minimum batch size will be 30 (first come first serve basis) & formed by RKCL as per state wide admission status & applicable time slots.

Mode of Learning

Learner can choose any of the following option in consultation with RKCL’s Authorized IT Gyan Kendra:

• Learn Online at Center: Learning at Authorized ITGK using ITGK Lab & Internet
• Learn Online at Home: Learning at Home using Home Computer/PC & Home Internet
• Instructor will use Microsoft Teams platform to deliver Live Online training

Medium of Learning

Live online classes will be undertaken by the Instructor via a mix of English and Hindi language

Study Material

Digital Notes (pdf, presentations) will be provided for each topic in English language

Certification

Course completion certificate to be issued by RKCL
